www.gopolyfootball.com is proud to announce that Tyler Nelson has signed a National Letter of Intent with Abilene Christian University (ACU).

Tyler will be joining the NCAA Lone Star Conference Champions who have just concluded an impressive 11-1 season.

It was a difficult decision for Tyler having to wade through quite a few different offers and having spent his time visiting a variety of campuses since the Poly season ended. After ACU had 2 players selected in the NFL draft and 3 more ACU players invited to NFL training camps he chose ACU. The ACU sports office will be issuing a press release shortly.

I am extremely proud of my son Tyler Nelson. He has shown determination, perseverance and dedication to the sport he loves.

Son, this is all you.

Again I want to say farewell and thank you to the players and parents of Poly Football.  I wish the seniors all the best in their future endeavors as they move on to new challenges and opportunities.  To the underclassman – I wish you the best in your athletic and scholastic growth at Poly High School.  The boys of Poly Football have made documenting their seasons in pictures and on the web great fun.  I have enjoyed my time with the team and getting to know the fine young men of Poly Football.
